Congratulations to: Mara-Jade Phipps!!  Our most recent winner of the Young Talent Music Scholarship for Term 1, 2016.

Mara-Jade, or MJ, as her friends know her, has big music goals and has set her vision on 2 preferred high schools that will allow her to develop as a musician when she leaves her current school, Kanwal Public School.  Playing the flute for three years, MJ has also played the clarinet for one year and is now developing her vocals through our Scholarship to help take her singing to the next level.

It’s always great to see junior students with a real passion for music and MJ is definitely open to learning as much as she can.  She has also said she would like to learn the saxophone in another year or two and she has already selected a song to demo in a few weeks time!  So the sky is the limit for MJ and we will be doing all we can to help her achieve her dreams.  Go for it MJ – a star of tomorrow!
